Decorative lampshade with a vintage-style hunting scene of riders, horses, and dogs in a forest clearing.

This Aladdin Whip-o-Lite shade design No. 170 is from 1934, and is commonly referred to as the "hunt scene" shade. Officially in the Aladdin brochure for "Exquisite hand-decorated Aladdin Whip-o-Lite Shades" it was listed as shade No. 170 Variegated. Aladdin used the term "Variegated" on many of its shades, which simply refers to the shade being comprised of different colors, rather than designating each with a style name such as the "hunt scene". This shade has also been reproduced.
